Your responsibilities
Develope customer and supplier relationships in international raw materials trading with a focus on (technical) ceramics and related high-performance minerals
Acquire new customers and suppliers using your existing network
Conduct market and competition analyses to identify new business potential
Negotiate prices, delivery terms and framework agreements in collaboration with our global trading teams and management
Support the strategic development of the product portfolio and global procurement sources
Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events
Your profile
Degree in geosciences, engineering, business administration or comparable training
Several years of professional experience in international trade with chemical products, ceramics, raw materials or minerals (e.g. Dolomite, Feldspar or Kaolin)
Confident use of ERP systems (e.g. SAP), MS Office 365 and CRM systems; ideally experience with specification databases or quality management tools
Strong intercultural skills, proven negotiation expertise and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
Willingness to relocate to Essen (Germany) and excellent written and spoken English skills – additional language skills are an advantage
