Imagine leading the charge in ensuring that Siemens Gamesa’s wind power solutions are always ahead of the curve. As a Grid Codes Engineer, you will spearhead the global process of monitoring grid code requirements, ensuring our technical solutions remain compliant with evolving regulations. You’ll translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable engineering specifications, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive innovation. Your day will be filled with opportunities to support business development through expert insights, acting as a key interface between engineering, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. How You’ll Make An Impact
Lead the worldwide Grid Code Monitoring process, coordinating with teams across ON and OFF markets for Wind Power.
Analyze compliance requirements for wind turbines and park controllers in product development projects, ensuring alignment with electrical designs and control systems.
Prepare technical documentation to demonstrate compliance with grid code requirements.
Stay updated with changes in grid codes and market certifications.
Collaborate with TSOs/DSOs, design engineers, and grid code certifiers to ensure seamless integration.
What You Bring
A Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with an electrical specialization.
Solid knowledge of grid codes, especially European ones.
Experience with simulation tools like PSCAD, DIgSILENT, and Matlab.
At least 2 years of experience in similar roles within the energy sector.
Advanced English proficiency (C1 level – CEFR); knowledge of German is a plus.
Project management skills: strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and a collaborative and results-oriented approach
