Theory and practice combined

Mechanical Engineering PLuS is an eight-semester course in which vocational training takes place parallel to semesters one to five, concluding with an IHK examination to become an industrial mechanic (m/f/d).

Your profile:

At least technical college entrance qualification
Technical understanding
Spatial imagination
Enjoy working independently
Organizational talent
Sense of responsibility, reliability, ability to work in a team and motivation
Interest in related sciences such as physics, mathematics and technology

What you can expect during your training:

inter-company basic training in metalworking (sawing, filing, drilling, turning and milling)
Learning various joining techniques (screwing, riveting and welding)
Reading and understanding technical drawings
Manufacturing components and assemblies according to drawings and assembling them in technical systems
Occupational safety, accident prevention and safe working practices
Integration of own activities in upstream and downstream processes
Quality control during production
Insight into the optimization of production processes
Participation in training and further education
