Position: Project Engineer – Americas
In this role, you will support our sales efforts across the U.S. and South America with your technical expertise. You will evaluate customer inquiries, prepare precise equipment proposals, and manage projects from inquiry through implementation. Working directly with customers and in coordination with our Sales Teams, you will present solutions, conduct training, and contribute significantly to our success in the region.
Location:
Initial phase: First 6–12 months at our facility in Fernwald, Hesse (Germany).
Permanent placement: Afterward, this role will be based full-time at our site in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
What You Will Do:
Provide technical guidance to our sales team on inquiries and orders in the U.S. and South America; technically evaluate requests and project feasibility.
Develop and prepare machinery and system proposals.
Deliver technical consultations and presentations to clients; support Sales Team training and development.
Manage project execution from order to delivery.
Contribute to special tasks and initiatives as required.
Your Profile:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
Several years of experience in technical sales and/or project planning.
Knowledge of the packaging industry, especially in form-fill-seal systems and end-of-line packaging.
Ideally, you hold or are eligible to obtain work authorization for the United States.
Strong English communication skills (equivalent to CEFR Level C1).
Good level of German to ensure successful onboarding.
Affinity for the U.S. market and cross-cultural competence.
Proficiency in MS Office tools.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and professional demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and an independent working style.
