Purpose

As a Buyer, you will play a key role in ensuring our teams have the materials, services, and strategic supplier partnerships they need to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Responsibilities

Operational & Strategic Procurement

Manage end‑to‑end procurement and order processing for goods and services.
Request, benchmark, and evaluate supplier offers, preparing clear decision-making recommendations.
Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and contractual agreements.
Monitor procurement timelines and ensure accurate and timely delivery.

Supplier Management

Identify, onboard, and maintain a high‑quality and reliable supplier pool.
Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements.
Conduct market analysis for your sub‑commodities and develop strategic sourcing proposals.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Collaborate closely with Engineering and other internal stakeholders to support technical projects and sourcing needs.
Work with international colleagues across subsidiaries to coordinate procurement strategy and alignment.
Maintain master data and ensure accuracy within SAP and internal systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field, ideally with initial experience in purchasing / materials management
Experience in a similar purchasing role is a strong plus.
Proficient in MS Office and SAP MM
Good written and spoken English skills
We offer a hybrid working scheme, candidate should live close to Karlsruhe region
Travelling for supplier visits 10%
