Head of Technical Department (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities:
·        Lead and manage the technical department, both functionally and disciplinarily
·        Coordinate and oversee engineering, design, and technical support activities
·        Take responsibility for developing project-specific technical concepts and solutions
·        Supervise technical calculations, design work, and engineering processes
·        Ensure quality and consistency of technical specifications and documentation
·        Support sales activities with technical expertise during tendering and negotiations
·        Assume overall technical responsibility for projects from contract award to completion
·        Coordinate with international construction sites and resolve complex technical issues
·        Drive process optimization and foster technical innovation
·        Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team
·        Manage budgets, schedules, quality standards, and resource planning within the technical scope

Your Profile:
·        University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field
·        Several years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or tunnelling, ideally in a leadership role
·        Strong background in design, engineering processes, and project execution
·        Proven leadership skills, decision-making ability, and strategic mindset
·        Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
·        Excellent communication skills in an international environment
·        Fluent in German and/or English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
·        Proficiency in common engineering software tools and MS Office
·        Willingness to travel internationally when required
