We are a medium-sized company that has been successfully operating in the fire pump industry for over 50 years, serving a large national and international customer base. We are known for our innovative products, high quality standards, reliability, and professional, expert collaboration with our customers.

We are seeking a Technical Writer (m/f/d) for a permanent position, to start as soon as possible.

Your job

Preparation of structured, clearly understandable operating instructions in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20607 and DIN EN ISO 82079-1 for our systems (diesel generators, electric generators, auxiliary generators)
Review and optimization of existing documentation with regard to structure and compliance with standards
Inclusion of references to the original operating instructions for the components
Incorporation of all relevant safety and commissioning instructions
Preparation of CE declarations of conformity, including the performance of conformity assessment procedures in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
Creation and revision of nameplates using appropriate software in accordance with legal and technical requirements
Implementation of a content management system for technical documentation

Your profile

Several years of experience as a technical writer (m/f/d), ideally in plant engineering or fire protection
Proficiency in technical standards (especially DIN EN ISO 20607 & 82079-1)
Written and spoken German at the C1 level or higher, as well as written English at the B2 level or higher
Ability to work independently and in a structured manner, with strong technical understanding
Team-oriented, communicative, and solution-oriented
