Your role
The Engineering Manager is responsible for implementing the company’s Product strategy regarding the development, introduction and maintenance of products, developing Engineering in all its dimensions (human, technical, etc.) and achieving technical excellence, technological leadership and innovation for product development and introduction as defined by the company and the Division

To succeed, you will need
Implements the strategic orientations for the development, introduction and technical monitoring of products and defines the organization to be put in place to achieve the defined objectives
Manage and coach the Engineering team to implement the strategy of the company and Division, inspire and build strong teams with a focus on cooperation, skills development and excellence
Develops, proposes the budget and the investment plan for the engineering, and once validated, monitors its execution and indicates its forecasts
Manage the engineering processes, ensuring that they comply with the group’s policy “The way we do think”
Fully embraces the company’s Q-SHEE policy, vision and culture and improves quality-safety performance in its areas
Regularly organizes the PCM according to the Division’s standards and ensures the implementation of the action plan. As a permanent member of the PCM, ensures that actions are taken in a timely manner by the members involved of the meeting and escalate any blockages
Participates in the PSM according to the Division’s standards and ensures the updating of schedules for the development of new technologies, the introduction of new products and major technical support projects
Leads and deploys electrical accreditation training courses

Skills / Knowledge / Experience
Completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in the development and design of technical products
Solid knowledge of CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and design tools
Experience with design calculations (e.g., bearing dimensioning, force calculations)
Knowledge of project management and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Experience in cooperation with universities or research institutes is desirable
Familiarity with supply chain collaboration and supplier selection
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge in optimizing and managing existing products
Business-fluent English skills, both spoken and written
