High-voltage training!

High-voltage training!

As an Electronics Technician (m/f/x), you make sure that our production systems operate at peak performance. You install electrical components, program control systems, and check that everything functions reliably. When a fault occurs, you find the cause and fix it directly on the machine — using modern technology such as PLC systems, sensors, and various automation solutions. Regular maintenance and repair work are also part of your everyday responsibilities. In short: you keep the technology running — and with it, the entire production.

Your apprenticeship

Step by step through the apprenticeship

1st year of training

You’ll begin with the fundamentals of electrical engineering. You’ll learn to read circuit diagrams, wire simple circuits, and work safely with tools and measuring devices. Through workshops and training courses, you’ll build the foundation for everything you’ll later need on the job. Step by step, you’ll become confident in working with electricity, voltage, and increasingly complex circuits.

2nd year of training

Now the real hands-on work begins: you’ll work directly in the plant and learn how production systems are installed, maintained, and repaired. You’ll gain insight into automation technology and control systems — and learn how to detect, analyze, and fix faults. You’ll also receive targeted training through specific module courses — for example in robotics, control technology, and other advanced topics, preparing you for demanding tasks in the plant.

3rd year of training

In your third year, you’ll take on more responsibility and work independently on more complex tasks. You’ll deepen your knowledge in PLC programming, drive technology, and process optimization. You’ll also learn how to document your work — an important foundation for quality and safety in production. You’ll also receive tailored preparation for the final part of your IHK exam to ensure your success.

4th year of training

In your final year, you’ll prepare intensively for your final exam. You’ll gain extensive practical experience, take on increasing responsibility, and get to know the department where you could later continue your career after completing your training. You’ll be able to share your preferences in advance — and together we’ll explore your options. You’ll also receive targeted exam preparation.
