Join our dynamic product development team where you will independently conduct analytical and numerical analyses to evaluate components in the field of electrical engineering. In close collaboration with product owners, agile team members, and company partners, you will leverage your simulation expertise to help develop world-leading high-voltage products. Imagine the impact you can make as you contribute to innovative solutions that drive the future of energy!

How You’ll Make an Impact

You will carry out electrical calculations both analytically and through FEM.
Implement optimization measures to decrease field strength, enhance current carrying capacity, and reduce losses.
Engage in the new development of simulation tools and calculation methods, including creating macros.
Familiarize yourself with relevant standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Collaborate and support development and customer projects, driving innovation forward.
Assist in planning qualification tests for high-voltage switchgear and its components.
Develop technical solutions in partnership with respective projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
Document and communicate calculation results effectively to stakeholders.
Compare test results with simulation outcomes to validate findings.

What You Bring

Completed studies in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field.
Experience in electrical calculations using FEM.
Practical experience with FEM programs, ideally COMSOL or CST EM Studio, is essential.
Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to solving complex tasks.
Teamwork and communication skills
Analytical, structured, and goal-oriented way of working.
Fluency in English, allowing for seamless communication in a global environment.
